How do you cure a book hangover/blogging slump/reading slump? via Take me away

I haven't had a book hangover, I usually just start over at the beginning and read it again if I want to stay in that world. Blogging Slump, I haven't been blogging long enough to get in a slump. Reading slump, I usually just read a different type of book. Way different book. Like if I'm all into Paranormal Romance, I'll switch to True Crime.

  1. I'll usually re-read the book again or visit my favorite parts if I don't want to leave that particular books world. Old GFC follower. Here's my F&F post: http://mountainrhinestones.blogspot.com/2015/05/feature-and-follow-6.html

  2. I don't know that I've ever re-read a book right away start to finish, but I'll go back and read my favorite parts. The ones that got me all fired up and made me love it. :D :D Happy Friday! My FF

  3. I'm trying to think if I've ever reread a book immediately after finishing. I've been tempted but I don't think I have. I do that with movies and tv shows though. Or I'll watch something by myself and watch it again right away when my husband gets home to watch it with me. :) I do reread books though, after a couple years have passed.

    1. There have only been a few times that I've started immediately...

  4. Changing it up is what I usually do too. I've never tried immediately rereading a book, but I'll have to keep it in mind! Thanks for sharing. :-)

  5. My second time to join. The first one was some much fun, I met a lot of new book bloggers.

Trying a different genre works for me too. Especially after a heavy thriller or mystery, I'll go light with a little romantic comedy.

  6. I think reading a variety helps. I'm glad that I like lots of different genres. It keeps it interesting. Thanks for visiting!

  7. I change things up too -- and I stop reading the minute I get bored. When it comes to a point when nothing is working, I just take a time out, for all of the three!
